Manufacture for the Environment (MFE) ProcedureCPG has implemented a Manufacture for the Environment (MfE) Procedure as a part of our sustainability initiative. We recognize that every manufacturing plant has an environmental impact and we must do our share to ensure our three manufacturing facilities are stewards of the environment. Our MfE strategy establishes procedures and processes to track any of our manufacturing impacts and provides attainable and achievable ways to reduce those impacts. The MfE procedure is our commitment to manufacture products in a sustainable manner. The procedure establishes methods to monitor and reduce the environmental impacts associated with day-to-day facility operations. The items considered include: reducing facility energy usage, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, increasing renewable energy use, efficient use of materials, solid waste minimization, hazardous waste minimization, reducing air emissions, reducing process water, reducing storm water discharges and chemical management.
