Strategies to Improve Corporate Culture 

of Sustainability

Not only are there environmental and marketing benefits to a company who's willing and able to walk its talk, but consumers want to do business with companies who provide a sustainable product and practice good corporate citizenship. This section is designed to show how CPG is doing just that.

CPG Corporate Initiatives
• CPG has created a Sustainability Team to evaluate and improve all
 corporate
sustainability initiatives. The team will also strive to motivate employees to
volunteer in the communities where they live and work. This team will
evaluate green opportunities in the marketplace which include, but are not
limited to the following:

– Switch to 50% post consumer recycled office paper

– Switch to Green Seal Certified chemical cleaning products
whenever possible

– Supporting organizations, groups, nonprofits and individuals who are
focused on working toward a healthy environment

– Use Forest Stewardship Certified (FSC) paper for all printed marketing 

materials

– Replace fax machines with internet based faxing software

– Increase the use of webinars to save on travel and energy costs

– Designate a minimum of five (5) existing parking spots at each facility as 
reserved for hybrid / carpool parking to promote a culture of sustainability.

– Participate in the "Adopt a Highway" program

– Participate in the "Cell Phone for Charity" program to prevent discarded cell
phones from being tossed in a landfill

– Continue to promote the importance of recycling all paper, cans, bottles &
plastic in all office & plant locations.
